Allez!s coat doesn't shed, so it needs to be cut. It's more of a wool than fur.
We trim her coat. It just takes a pair of sharp scissors. I usually do this when the ladies are out at the weekends ... it's easier that way, otherwise I get convoluted instructions on hairdressing, much wincing & and a lot of interference.
Allez! doesn't mind - she's quite happy to sit as I wield the scissors around, providing she gets to play afterwards.
Best we ask for forgiveness, and I practice selective hearing.
